No and I've no clue about how pics show on the play games field displays or the 3d field displays and I have way to much work to do to fulfill my ootp responsibilities to check that out at the moment. Sorry

Anyone have links to the most "complete" face gen historical roster sets?

I'm having no trouble with photos on the substitution screen. The bullpen screen is a different matter. To be honest, I'm not sure the mouse-over popup is supposed to be enabled on the bullpen widget. I'll ask Matt Arnold.

Does the program get confused with names like this J.A._Happ ? It's in the 2018 Season Face -Gen not my photo and it doesn't display and to be honest alot of baseball sims have trouble with names like his.

Yes, that’s where it’ll go. You could always copy your original fg_files folder and save it somewhere else.

How far back do these rosters go and to what extent are they complete rosters for those seasons?

They go back at least to 1901. There are 40,000+ files, including some duplicates (in case a different FG is preferred).

Thanks giving it a go. The facegens don't look anything like the real players face. I don't think Roger Maris ever played with a beard in 1960 with the NYY (not allowed).

If you can get past the fact they don't look anything like the real person it's ok I guess unless you know very clearly what they look like from playing OOTP with real player photos.

Thanks

Did you hit the Install button in Workshop Central?

I hit the "Subscribe" button as usual. It's not there fg_files folder for sure. I found something that resembles the workshop dl somewhere else in steam apps>workshop. That's the location I believe.

Once the file is downloaded, you need to go to Workshop Central and click the Install button. This will install the files in the fg_files folder.

Thanks correct will try it out more later. Two quick questions.
*Do these files alter anything in the game except for player pictures?
*Is there a in game setting you use that enhances the Player"s Facegen?

Thanks again for your effort.

1 - No.
2- Check out the 3D & Facegen tab on the Settings menu (accessible from the start screen). It has a few Facegen settings.

Confirmed: The in-game lineups widget (with the bullpen section) is NOT designed to show player pictures when moused-over.

Thanks

How do I switch off Facegen to allow for those seasons installed to make use the real player photos I have installed in profile_pictures?
