Manager/GM role vs GM only
All,
So I started a save as a GM/Manager and am a couple of years in. The team is really underperforming, and the young players I've brought up to the majors don't seem to be improving much. My question is, am I missing out on some performance due to being the manager vs being the GM and hiring a manager with a good reputation? Will this improve as my reputation improves? Or am I just getting unlucky? I've checked the team chemistry and everything seems fine on that front, my scout is Theo Epstein who has been great for me in other saves, so I trust the information he's giving me about player ratings. Is there a change in how players develop with a human manager vs an AI one? For an AI manager you can view their relationships tab to see which players they have good relationships with and who they have a greater impact on development. There is no way to see this information as a human manager, so how does it work? Interested to hear everyone's thoughts |

there is no change, underperformance happens in OOTP a lot as it does in real life. ie the Cleveland Indians. just work through it. I prefer GM only mode bc I find it to be more of a challenge but there is not much of a difference if any n their progression.
