Any chance of raising Ernie Harwell from the dead for in-game commentary?

This is an amazing step forward! As an OOTPer with probably one of the highest ratios of time spent playing out games vs. time spent on management activity, these new developments are overwhelmingly positive. Just gob-smacking.

We haven't yet seen how smoothly animations and so on will work, but we can be sure things will improve over further versions of OOTP.

Yes! A ballpark kit!

Also, will custom uniforms appear on the player models?

Can we choose the color of the pants? or even better, customize them?
And can we choose sock styles (stirrups vs. full socks) and how much is showing (pants at the knee, the mid calf or the ankles) ?

If not now, eventually?

This is awesome!!

I didn't play a lot of games using the 3D interface for OOTP 18 but after seeing those images, I might jump on board to 3D for 19.

Can't wait to see all the other little changes...

I love the new GUI, it looks so so slick.

I do have a small interface question -- will the side buttons on my mouse work to navigate forward and back in game? I never tried to figure out if I could configure that in 18, I know I couldn't get it going in 17 or 16, but FHM 4 does it.

Yes, that works in OOTP 19. Also, the middle mouse button now acts as a "previous screen" button.

Yes, custom uniforms appear on the players. Pant colors will be added later in an update

Incredible work. It is absolutely crazy to look back at the first OOTP I played in 2010 and see how massively it's improved and changed. You guys are absolute workhorses. Convinced me to pre-order!

One question, I know using 3D models made the text commentary shorter, this year will it have the same detail as non 3D models?

You can also use the full text commentary presently in 3D. Just needed a little adjustment. I posted the following in another thread:

"Have you tried to delay the pbp so that you watch the 3D action then read the pbp?

Works very well for me, settings:

PbP detail: Full Detail
PbP speed: Normal
Delay Mode: Per Line
Delay Millisec.: 600

Hope this helps. "

I just got it back during the World Series, but I believe I'm going to have to get 19 earlier this year. This looks unbelievable! I was just thinking playing last night that it was getting about the time to change the way the scoreboard looks during a game you are managing. I never imagined it or everything else looking this good. The advances the team continues to make are incredible.

Wait, everyone's version of 18 has the players looking like salt and pepper shakers? I thought I had that feature because I was a seasoned veteran . . .

Seriously, this looks phenomenal. You guys have clearly put so much work into this; I can't wait to play it. Every version is an improvement, some more obvious than others. But if these teasers are any indicator, you guys have hit this one . . . really far? That's wrong. A long way? No. Over the fence? Close.

Oh right.

Out of the Park.

Cheers.

Awesome

Was OOTP 18 better as OOTP 17?

Yes, of course, but what about next year... the game couldn't be better as OOTP18.

...wait! I saw the pictures and must say, OOTP 19 looks great, and i believe that the game is the best OOTP ever, so well done guys, i look forward to OOTP 20, could this be better... (return to begin...)

All the screens shown feature facegen. Will the facepack files still work in 19?
