Experience
I added the "Experience" from the "General" customization view, out of curiosity, and I don't understand the values it then shows. Are the units 'years'?
For the Minnesota Twins, for example, rookie prospect Luis Arraez is shown with an experience of '9', even though he has been a pro for only 3 years. I don't know what it means for such a young guy to have higher "Experience" than Joe Mauer, who shows as a '4'. I couldn't find where it's explained in the online manual. Am I misunderstanding the purpose, or is it a bug? |

Honestly, I'm not sure what that field represents.
Maybe Markus or Matt will see this and answer

Experience appears to be a mystical and magical figure, which according to my reading of the code, essentially equates to "number of years the player has been active in the database". Which, to me, looks meaningless. I'd suggest not bothering with it too much

Thanks for the explanation. I imagine the ability to view it was an artifact of debugging/Beta, and will be removed for end-user consumption.

No, I'm guessing more that it was a setting that has been in there for 15 years, and made sense back then but we've replaced it with a lot of other, better metrics for player experience (like MLB service time, Pro service time, etc...)
