why duplicate boxers in same division

Unfortunately this problem has been ongoing since the game was released and the developer appears to have absolutely no interest in fixing it.

When I discover duplicate files, I delete them. Most of the time they stay removed. If you care to post who they are currently, you can post them here or send me a message.

I have this happen all the time, too numerous to list all fighters, I keep 1 data base "strictly" clean (do not use for sims), it is used strictly as and "Update" DB. And this where I see it the most, but occasionally in my DB that I am using as my Universe, fighters disappear from their weight class only to find them in a weight class they NEVER fought in with an erroneous rating "checked" as their default. Usually when this happens, I find them hiding (their erroneous rating) in the Welterweight division


I will even get fighters with 2 ratings where 1 is not even his weight class.
For a recent example (but already corrected, so can not send info to you)
Is looking for a particular Heavyweight, no where to be found in the Heavies so I "searched" for him, to find He was in the Welterweights with an erroneous welterweight rating being checked as the "Default", So deleted this rating so that the fight was again only in the Heavyweight division.


But often this happens with the same fighters --- an erroneous ratings or duplicate fighter. One in particular I remember is Evander Holyfield. This has happened with him on several occasions, where he will end up being either a "0 or 1" rated heavyweight. Or have a duplicate in the DB rated 1 or 0
