I have re-installed the nickname project with every patch and the auto load will not work. anyone else having the same problem??

Nope. I just added an independent league to my universe, typed in the team names, and all the unis and logos loaded.

"After putting together the team_nick_names file I realized that the logos were not named to work well with it so I updated them to work with the file. Here's the updated logos: The Nickname Project: Updated Logos. (The logos are updated in the Complete Edition)"

The link in that no longer works. Where can I get the matching logo set with no duplicate logos?

Thanks for letting me know the link didn't work. I fixed it and it should work now.

It now links to the wrong file, one that still has multiple logos for the same nickname. Where is the one-logo-per-nickname file?

Try it now. I think I misread what you posted before. It should be the The Nickname Project: Updated Logos file. Thanks for helping out.

The solution to this is to manually download the nicknames project and put them in the nicknames folders in each of logos, ballcaps, and jerseys. Then you need to use powershell or python to remove the double __ and replace them with single _. In powershell you would cd into the directory and type "dir | rename-item -NewName {$_.name -replace "__","_"}". From there they should autoload.

Gents, appreciate all the hard work everyone has put in here.

Are the logos meant to appear with the circular ring around them? So they are appear like they are a badge. Didn't know if it is possible for OOTP to ignore this.

Really appreciate all the work that's been put in.

I'm trying to use the Pacers uniforms and the 2nd option for the Explorers and the logos load just fine for these two options but I can't get the jerseys and caps to load properly in 18. Any idea how to fix this?

All of the logos in the downloads have the circle around them. They were created in that style buy justafan.

It's possible that they were saved at an incorrect size. They are supposed to be 512x512. If they aren't they won't show up correctly in the game.

Is there a download for every log up to the end of this thread currently? I have the OOTP16 and the vol1-4 etc ... there's a few I saw scrolling through that aren't in that (eg Voyagers)

I think the Hydro team name is spelled wrong in the download. It is spelled "Hyrdo"
