Will the Veteran Rule, like the one used in the AHL, be included in this game, and, if so, is it something that can be changed?

League rules generally are said to be editable so if the rule makes it into the game I'll bet you will be able to change it or turn it off.

In terms of the first season the minors is playable? If that's the question, it's 2012/13 (the historic mode uses a reserve list instead).

There's just a rough approximation of it right now, AHL teams have to dress 12 guys age 26 and under. I'm not sure if we'll be able to get something more realistic added for the first release, especially since it wouldn't really work without having complete minor league histories for all players in the starting database, something I'm not too optimistic about right now.
