World Series bolding is correct, but the history shows the wrong team winning.

Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees should be Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees

I can create a csv file that can be imported through my program to solve this (it's only a minor thing though)

I don't know what Erich's plan is for this. Count on a change to be made.

Erich, I am seeing something new and disturbing in player histories.

Example:

Dmitri Young

His 1992 year is doubled. 270 games, 970 AB.

His historical minors stats show up on the Reds Dayton Dragons affiliate.

I did not see this sort of stuff two weeks ago.

What date are transactions up to date with?

I thought it was opening day, so I was going to move the transactions through and on the 2nd April 2007

Baltimore selected the contract of C Alberto Castillo from Triple-A Norfolk and optioned LHP Brian Burres to Norfolk

So I would have expected to find Alberto Castillo on the roster for AAA but he's unattached and Brian Burres is already on the Norfolk roster.

I have no AI control on any team, injuries and development turned off.

On the 3rd January the Cubs signed Neal Cotts and that's the team he's on in the roster set.

Not true. The Cubs traded for him in November of 2006. He was tendered his contract before the arbitration deadline in December of 2006 and agreed to a contract with the Cubs in Jan of 07. He was still a member of the Cubs before Jan 07.

Then just take maybe Cubby's Rosters and add it to the Quickstart so we can have the Rosters as of Today.

Guys, I have to see it, I don't know as of now. I sent the stuff to people it was added in and I haven't seen the finished product. I am still working on things for this as well and haven't completed all the additions that I am putting into the game.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Quick question, how is the roster in ootp 8 compared to Cubby's roster? I've started a season with Cubby's one in 2007. Is it worth starting over with this roster?

If not, if I get OOTP 8, when's the best time to import the roster? Is it fine to do it during the season?

Thanks!

I am having an odd problem with the rosters. I have decided to become the manager/GM of the Seattle Mariners. I have simmed up to spring training and have played half of the games. I wanted to set a couple of my coaches to scout a few countries and when I try it says I cannot set a task unless I control that team. I do control this team. These are the scouts from the big league level. When I look in their profile it shows Ventura County Gulls (CAL, A) as their team. However, when I go to the CAL A it shows no team by that name. Why cant I set a task for my own scouts?

There needs to be more available personnel created. There are not enough and many teams go without personnel positions being filled.

This does not happen in fictional leagues, so the problem is with the mlb roster set.

Yep. Known issue. You have to make them 1 by 1. These is no mass create or create X number of scouts function in OOTP yet.
