Just curious how you are rating the minor leaguers. Perhaps trying to base it off the Baseball America top 100, and individual system top 30 rankings ? I can see some moving about, but it'd be nice to see the package release with ratings fairly close to those, since it's as close to a consensus "best" or widely accepted rankings.

And yes, and big thanks for taking the time and the effort to do these !
I used Rolen's rosters back when I was playing OOTP5 (haven't played since then), and I hadn't noticed anything like what you are saying. I trust these guys to be honest and forthright. I mean they're doing it for the community, not for themsleves.

I just have a quick question. I am going to run a league with '06. I imported Cubby's rosters, version 2. I have had a lot of complaints about players like Ryan Howard, Prince Fielder, etc. being underrated. Are the ratings going to be different in this new version?

What would people think about using Baseball Prospectus' player predictions as a guide to setting up ratings (both current and potential)?

While you guys are waiting I can release my adjusted set that I never released if you guys want? Added all players in MLB and AAA and re-rated a ton of guys... would that help the waiting process?

I think that'd be fantastic. I bet, given the BBPro endorsement already in the game, that you might even be able to get Nate Silver to help you with it.

1) Accurate stadiums w/ dimensions?
2) Accurate 2006 MLB Schedule? And this might be related to the OOTP engine, as I've not tested anything yet (waiting for these rosters and the patch), but do AAA, AA, A, R etc play the same amount of games as in real life? (If OOTP doesnt make it do this, will your rosters? If it does, can someone let me know?)

That'll help some, but I'd have to restart when the full file is ready, so I'll wait.

If you can do this, go for it! Either PECOTA or DiPS would be an awesome addition.

That's my 6.5 file for anyone who wants it to hold them over. Keep in mind it has nothing to do with this file.

The more I read "what do you think of this" and "what do you think of that" it seems like this roster is still a month away, especially when we're talking about ratings.

Cubby, release your adjusted roster. At the very least, it gives us something quick to start with and get a grasp on how the game works. A lot of people aren't comfortable with fictional rosters, and using fictional rosters in this game may be even more overwhelming.
