Retired #s - converting to 255
Occasionally, when a player retires, OOTP converts his jersey number from whatever it was to the number 255. Then if the player's jersey is retired by a club, it is posted as #255. When this happens with multiple players the club will only retire one of them with #255.
This seems only to happen to players that are quality enough to get their numbers retired, but have been sent down to the minors at the very end of their career. I have uploaded my data files under the zip file name of "Fussner - USBL lg.zip".

What patch are you on? I'm pretty sure this was fixed in the most recent patches (not that I recommend downloading them now as there are some issues, but we'l have a new one out soon).

Thanks Lukas. I had just downloaded the new patch but hadn't gotten to a year-end to see if it was still happening yet. I didn't see it listed in the set of fixes under any of the prior patches. I'll see if it is still causing problems once I get to a year-end.

Looks like it is still occurring after the latest patch. Had two more players retire with their numbers converted to #255 - both of which had their numbers retired by their respective teams.
