Join now and get a free letter thanking you from the governing board of the league. But wait, there's more. The Vice-Commish is also going to throw in a special welcoming thread where your name will be put in bold so the other team owners can give their hellos, advice, and generally add to their post count for mucho money. Not enough? Well, they said it could not be done but it CAN be done; the MBBA can also provide expert counseling on how to build a winning team in 100 easy steps or 10 hard steps depending on your tolerance for losing.

Its just that simple. Click on the link provided at the start of the thread. Its the link under Montgomery Brewster Baseball Association. There, I knew you could do it.

The following message is not a true representation of the sanity of this poster. He's actually MUCH MORE insane.

Surely some lucky person out there would love the opportunity to take over the Seattle Storm, who are only 5 games out of the division lead, trailing the Las Vegas Hustlers in the Frick League Pacific Division. The Storm play their home games in Soundgarden Estates, and have one of the better farm systems in the MBBA (7th overall), all they need is an owner to protect the team from the maniacal managerial methods utilized by the OOTP AI! Come join us, you won't be disappointed!

Where is everybody? We are an extremely active fictional league with a team available - Seattle Storm. They are in rebuild mode, but have a good farm system.

We have great owners and get 12+ in every live sim (Tue, Thr, Sun nights). We also have a very active message board that always has new content.

We don't expect many openings in this league now that we have a very strong set of owners so now is your chance to get involved!

Despite our fictional status, we do have some recognizable names in the league like Crash Davis, Steve Nebraska, etc. We also have MLB defectors in the off-season.

What are you waiting for?

What I would give to go back again and be a H.S. baseball star... except for those crazy chicks bothering Rainey during our live sims.

Good lord.....
this is what you have to look forward to as the new owner of the Seattle Storm.

Seriously though, we do love our ribbing here in the MBBA.

I've never been in a league that has a 'Chairman'.
Just what is that?

It's basically a Commissioner, but without the daily duties.

You see, over the years I've built a small empire (many of you don't know this because its largely been in Baseball Pro 98):

1- Global Baseball Consortium Prime (BBPro)
2- Global Baseball Consortium Deuce (BBPro)
3- Contract w/ Global Baseball Alliance (BBPro)
4- GBC Tres (became World Wide Baseball League) (OOTP4)
5- Other Reality Baseball (OOTP4->5)
6- Monty Brewster Baseball Association (OOTP4->5)

It's hard to take care of the daily duties in all of these leagues, but they are my babies still.

The WWBL is no longer under my reign, but all the others are in some way. I really don't do much with the BBPro leagues anymore other than offer advice on rules changes; but am Commissioner of the ORB, and very active in the MBBA.

In addition I'm active in the Official Out of the Park League (OOL) as an owner so I am busy.

But I've ensured all of these leagues success by identifying great leaders and putting them in position for success. My folks in the BBPro leagues are superb, Joel and Eric do an outstanding job in the MBBA. I do the bulls work in the ORB, but I also have Gates Elliott to help me out.

So, that's a basic description of what the Chairman title is all about.

Thumbs up

Not a part of MBBA, but participate with maddie in a league and I bet he does a great job of running the league. No doubt that everyone gets a fair shake and he gets the job done.

Im sure you have your spots filled with all this support, but just wanted to throw in another thumbs up for what it's worth.

Correction, new Seattle owner receives Steve Nebraska as part of the welcoming package, not Steve Clockmer.
