OOTP 19 - Is all this work dead?
I watched one of the preview videos of OOTP19 last night. I am normally cheap and wasn't planning on getting it until the All-Star or World Series sale. But the new 3D settings have me concerned. My leagues are all old-time (I am running a no-strike 90s league and a proper AL expansion in 1971 league) or fictional (all minor league Northeast cities with college and Disney minor leagues). It doesn't look like the yeoman-like work that Silvam and Adion have done will translate to the new software. Is this true or not?

Not at all. All of my parks should work in 19 just as they do in 18

I can confirm that the historical parks work perfectly. Dropped ebbets field in, not a single issue. Looks even more beautiful with actual players running around on the field.

I think they look amazing when you hide the widgets and screen heading during play. That gives you the full screen action. So cool Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok i figured out how to hide the lineups, but is there a way to hide or move the large head screen that runs all the way across the top? That's essentially the scoreboard, so maybe i don't really want it gone. But part of what i love about ballparks is the view beyond the outfield wall, and that sort of blocks it

Should be the option under the hide widgets option in the view menu. Could be wrong. No access to the game right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Awesome. Looking at the higher resolution, it worried me and would have been a deal-breaker for getting 19 eventually.
