League opening - Detroit Tigers -

Hey everyone,

Currently we are looking for an active GM to take over the Detroit Tigers. The team has only made one trade so the team is almost completely the same as opening day. The league is currently still in its first season, we are in August. Detroit currently is in First place and we are looking for a strong GM to help with the push to the playoffs. The last GM wasn't active, so that is why he is being replaced.

MLASB is a league that thrives on the core gm's we have. currently we have 18-22 of the most active gm's i have ever seen on aim in our group chat, and on the forums. And the other 6 are doing well enough for now. Our goal is to fill every team with a top notch active gm and watch as the league goes on for years and years.

We have a system of 2 commissioners. 1 controls everything with ootp (the simming, the website control) and another commissoner controls the message board, GM activities, recruitment, and handling issues that arise.

-An awesome feature to our league is that every sim we link everyone to a live simulation where you have the opportunity to watch each game your team plays in the simulations. It has been awesome to have the whole league on aim in the group chat while this is going on, and watching everyone get excited and talk smack to each other. It's really a great feature.

We are looking to bring the best gm's in and in doing so will make this league one of the best that has ever been out there. please take time to look at our website and the message board to see for yourself and make the decision if you want to be apart of the MLASB family.

We sim 3 days a week... Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday nights at 8 pm eastern time.

We only require a few things from GM's and those include:
AIM, Email, and Activity!!!! (on aim, the boards, and so forth). We also require GMs to own OOTP14, which is what we use.

Just wanted to update this, the league site has moved to MLPROSOOTP. The site is currently under maintenance since we had to move sites, but should be up and running strong very shortly. We just filled a team and have openings for the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers currently. The league has a strong core of GMs and are looking to add to that.

The league does 3 sims per week and they are live SIMs through our website. They are always fun and a lot of GMs are in the aim chatroom during them. The league is nearing September of our first year and with two possible playoff teams open, we are hoping to fill them fast so they can have a chance to compete.
