Thank you so much, the_mad_monk.
I had given up on this thread... you saved the day. Really nice Logos and Jerseys. The Jolly Green Giant image is great... very, very well done. Thanks a huge bunch. Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-13-2019 at 07:13 PM. |

Just in case anyone is interested in the finished product... here are what the Joliet Green Giants jerseys, logos and caps look like in the game.
I like 'em a lot. Thanks again, mad_monk. I don't like the backgrounds in the game, but it won't let me pick them all the time... the backgrounds are supposed to chosen in the team settings and based on the team colors... but we really get some putrid and horrid greenish yellow or gold backgrounds... even though the team colors are green and yellow. Methinks, the logo would look much better on a yellow background... color contrast is important. I chose the plain white letters (no green trim)... think they show up better in the game. Joliet Green Giants
Sorry, I doubled up on several... it's gets confusing when you have so many fine choices. I think they are well done... especially mad_monk's work. Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-15-2019 at 10:49 PM. |

The name of my new Dynasty League will probably be EC's North Island Recreational League.
2 Separate 6-team Leagues that will use Promotion and Relegation... each season I will promote the top two teams from the NIRL Second Division to the NIRL First Division and also demote or relegate two bottom teams from the First Division to the Second Division. It will be a dynasty about the local high school grads still wanting to play baseball into their 20s, 30s and maybe 40s... all of the teams will be composed of ex-high school players from specific high schools... each team is based on one of the high schools on North Island... a mythical location. Play will begin with the 1950 season... that's my golden era of baseball... I will get to relive that great period of my life using OOTPB and the real history in the USA... I plan to incorporate life in the US in the 50s, 60s and 70s and the league progresses from year-to-year. Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-15-2019 at 02:52 PM. |

Fonts
You mentioned in an earlier post that you don't have many fonts, and no script type fonts. There are thousands of fonts available from DaFont, and you can view/download them by style.
When you find one you like, click the download button, then you can save it to your computer. Then go to the folder when the file was saved, and extract the files. The actual font files will have an extension of either .otf or .ttf. For these files, right click on them, and choose Install from the top of the popup menu. You should then be able to use them in the Jersey Creator, or any other program. |

On Mac it’s sooooooooo easy. Easier then windows honestly. However if you’d really like to figure it out EC I’m sure there are some nice YouTube tutorials on how do it. Once you do it a few times it’ll be a walk in the park

They will show up very well on the game screens... contrast is much better than the original... mad_monk did a great job on his logo... his was really creative and very well done... but it was too dark to show up well on the game screens... especially on the smaller sizes like league standings. Appreciate the jerseys and caps, too. |

I think of you often, every time I post my beautiful Islandian Pro Alliance League Logo... you did a superb job on it... you even worked in "IPA" and the year "2001"... the colors are perfect... a baseball with red and blue stripes... you got the full name of the league on it... and also "Ruthlandia" and "Tycobbia"... all in 150 x 150 pixels... now that's doing something... and it's not cluttered. I think it is brilliantly done. Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-27-2019 at 12:49 PM. |
