After running a weeks worth of testing on this quickstart, I made several changes including splitting each league in half and have 2 teams from each side make the playoffs instead of one, as well as tweak the ratings for several players to make it more accurate. I will continue to test it out and make some final tweaks before completing it for release.
I attached on a Read Me file that i worked on today adding all of the details into it. |

Hollywood Baseball League Quickstart 1.0 Released
It only took me 4-5 months to create but i finally finished my quickstart.
The quickstart is created for OOTP11 so those still using 11 can use it and those with 12 can import it into 12. I hope that you all enjoy it. Let me know any feedback that you might have on it. Currently the file can be located here. |

Took over as the Tigers...Alittle disappointed that the players from the Yankees are on this team, but they will make me better. Only 3 picthers is gonna be an issue.
You did great on all the photos...but since i have most of the facegens i changed them. Offered contracts to Sammy Bodeen 3 mil per for 3 yrs. Monty Brewster 3.9 over 2 yrs. Kit Keller 2.2 1 yr Duece Cooper 16.5 over 5 yrs Ed Sullivan 1 mil over 2 yrs. Bingo Long 5.8 over 2 yrs Steve Nebraska 17.6 over 5 yrs. Kenny Powers 4.6 over 2 yrs side note: can you send me the pic of Kit Keller...I used a more recent photo of her for facegen. Odd problem when you go to Meet Demand it structures all the contracts oddly...see SS. Last edited by Chicagofan76; 08-12-2011 at 07:05 AM. Reason: forgot SS |

Bingo Long, Ed Sullivan, Monty Brewster, Steve Nebraska, Kenny Powers & Sammy Bodeen (got into a bidding war with Cleveland)signed. I lost Deuce Cooper to the Tribe.
Bad News Bears are signing some good FA's Esquire Joe Callaway is 1 of them, Dottie Hinson, Frierson, Bunyon, Carlos Liston also. Palmer went to SF. Cleveland offered me Jake Taylor for Mickey Hart...with Gus on my team I had to decline. Start of Spring Training. Cool news below. |

Chappy's stats seem low...I am used to playing 1-10 1-100 is messigm me up i may have to change it, but for test purposes i want to play with your setup. Can I get your photo file for these guys? I had forgotten where I came up with some of the players for my Endor League. Mickey Scales was a decent 2B for 1 of my teams for 9 sns .291 354 sb til a CEI took him out. I want to do facegens for most of these guys for this league and other leagues.
So much for Chappy throwing a perfect game 4 ER in O IP Last edited by Chicagofan76; 08-12-2011 at 07:32 AM. |

I won the game...I havent looked at everyone else's roster, but with Detroit not having enough pitchers i created 10 MR very young so I can sign a few guys for my pen. i used Chappy, Brewster for 2 innings, Powers for 3 and the other guy for 2innings after chappy gave up 6 ER in 1.2ip.
I;ll give ya some more feedback as necessary. So far i like it. i did change the ratings to 1-10. 1-100 threw me off. |

Thanks for the feedback.
All of the players stats I made as close to possible as I could. All of the players that were in the movie are on the same team, meaning you will see ken stout on the tigers cause he was in for the love of the game. Although the team name is Detroit Tigers its more like a For the love of the game team. The downfall of some of the teams is that they didnt show players for all positions or many pitchers, thats where the free agent market will help fill the rosters as well. Chicago--Let me know what pictures you want and Ill try and get a zip file of the pictures that i took and used for the file For Billy Chapel in the movie, he is nearing the end of his career and although he throws a no-hitter his stats in the movie were |

It was a screenshot that i had taken of the movie. I'll have to get all of the pictures together and make a zip. if i have time tomorrow ill put it online. As I watched the movies I took screenshots of them.. I also took scouting notes on each player that I could. I have hours of downtime each night at work so this is what has been keeping me busy
