New Year's crash, continued

Game crashes every New Year's Day.
This time, no instances of a major league player not on the 40 man roster.
Turning off scouting and coaching was not enough. This time, I had to turn off scouting and coaching, then save the file, and only then proceed to January 1.

Once again, the game is once again working.

Beorn, I am sorry that no one has been able to offer a solution to this issue. I have run quite a few league with coaching and scouting turned on, but was not able to reproduce this. With so many specifics (the 40 man problem before, the OOTP 9 conversion, etc), it is difficult to try to reproduce. Due to this and the age of the thread, I am going to recommend that a moderator move this to the "closed issues" section. If you continue to have this issue, please feel free to create a new tech support thread and link back to this and your other threads.

Also, due to the password protecting of the league file, I was not able to test that directly. If you need to upload a league file the future, please ftp it to OOTP using the directions below and for best results, do not password it. Thank You
