Disabled List - Out of Options?

Am I missing something in this scenario?

- Guy on 40 man roster
- Played Spring Training and was sent to AAA for his final option year
- Gets injured in AAA
- Goes to the disabled list
- Now healthy, and when he wants to go back to AAA team is told he must go on waivers since he is out of options

Why would he have to use another option coming off the DL?

This happened to me as well, it is very clearly a defect in OOTP code.

Basically if the player is not eligible for the post season, or even if he IS eligible... once the post season has started you should not have to place him on a roster other than the 40 man roster. Period. This is a really bad defect and something should be done to patch it.

Yeah, that makes no sense. Looks like the only recourse is to use those commissioner powers.
