Award Winners MIA

I read in OOTP16 discussions about not being able to retro announce award winners for the new awards. My question is similar but not really.

So I just started a new world. First season came and went. Award winners were tabulated and submitted. I get the emails of who won etc. Now a month later (still in offseason) I notice on the historical section, the award winners are blank.

Is there anything I can edit/mod to get the guys to show up? I'm assuming (based on the OOTP16 new award question) the answer is no. I thought I would ask.

I'd rather not start over, but being only 1 season in, it's not a complete waste if I have to.

I think they show up on the boards when you sim to the next calendar year.

Yes either January 1st or Preseason.

Thank you both so much. Coincidentally after I noticed it i stopped simming on 12/31 just in case and sounds like I should have went just one more day last night before quitting lol.

I'm on January 1 now and still nothing

That sucks, try making a copy of your league and simming to the preseason. That way you can check without missing the offseason.

I would just copy the league folder in your saved games folder and rename it test.lg.
Open that through the game and sim to the preseason.

I had the same problem. Sim to the preseason and then they will be there.

I just checked my file where I wanted to post the page for awards, and like you there was nothing. I assumed the feature was taken out in the last patch. However, after I got to the preseason and checked, they were there.

BTW, my screen grab is from the History Index. Click on the year.

Simmed to preseason and BOOM they are there. Thanks everyone. I love the community support here. I lurk more than i post but enjoy all the camaraderie here.
