Things can change over the course of a month. At the beginning of the month, the Boston Braves were only out of first by a single game., they dropped all the way down to 6th place
with a sour 8-20 June. The Chicago Cubs surged into the top three thanks to a 11 game winning streak. The top spot was held by New York , but dropped to second as Pittsburgh is
9-1 in their past 10 games. In the American League, the Washington Senators increased their lead over Cleveland, they are on a five game winning streak to close out their so
so month of June

Final 1926 Standings
The Washington Senators will be taking on the Chicago Cubs in the World Series. The last time the Cubs were in Post Season was again the Cleveland Naps in the 1907 World
Series, in which they won. The Senators are coming off their win over the Boston Braves from last year. The last time these two teams met was in the 1899 WS when the Orphans
beat the Senators.
