College Schedule (50 games, 60 teams, 6 divisions)

Here is a college schedule I created for my universe. It features 50 games for 60 teams placed in 6 ten-team divisions, all in the same league. Games are played Thursday-Sunday, with the exception of the first 20 days.

Each team begins the season by playing one team in each of the five other divisions in a two-game home-and-away series (played every-other-day). The next 36 games are balanced four-game Thursday-Sunday series against divisional opponents. The last four-game series is a rematch against a divisional opponent (originally, this was meant to be a divisional rivalry game, but the teams rotate each season so it's somewhat random who the final series is against).

My college league is setup with regional divisions based on NCAA conferences: East (ACC), Midwest (primarily Big Ten), South (SEC), Central (primarily Big-12), Pacific (primarily Pac-12), and American (miscellaneous historically successful programs).

schedule format: "ILN_BGN_G50_SL1_D1_T10_D2_T10_D3_T10_D4_T10_D5_T1 0_D6_T10_C_" inter_league="0" balanced_games="0" games_per_team="50" start_month="2" start_day="14" start_day_of_week="5"

NJCAA / Juco Schedule

A schedule I made for a JUCO league I started. 20 teams split in two divisions. Teams play a double-round robin 3-game series schedule (home-and-away) against their division for 54 total games. Games played Friday-Sunday only.

Format: ILN_BGN_G64_SL1_D1_T10_D2_T10_D3_T10_D4_T10_D5_T10 _D6_T10_C_

NCAA Version 2

I had a second pass at my NCAA schedule since I wasn't entirely pleased with my other one. This one is similar, except now, once conference play starts, teams play a true double-round robin (home-and-away) 3 game series schedule (Friday-Sunday) against their division. The schedule is now 64 games rather than 50, which is closer to the number NCAA programs play in a season. The first 10 games are against teams from other divisions in an attempt to simulate pre-season tournaments.

NCAA schedules are hard to approximate if you want to keep it balanced (same game days and number of games), but I think this comes fairly close.

Schedule type: ILN_BGN_G64_SL1_D1_T10_D2_T10_D3_T10_D4_T10_D5_T10 _D6_T10_C_" inter_league="0" balanced_games="0" games_per_team="64" start_month="2" start_day="14" start_day_of_week="6"
