Screenshot feature

I just noticed that OOTP now has a screenshot feature(F12)(I think this is new). Pretty cool. I posted my very first screenshot....too bad it was to the Detroit Tigers forum

Ugh! Should have read some posts before posting this. Habsfan mentioned this feature in a thread yesterday. My bad.

It's a good thing that you started this thread because I'm sure there are users out there who had no idea until they saw your thread title.

I love this feature. Much easier to take and store screenshots now and it's handy to have that built in screenshots folder in the OOTP documents portion on my PC. Kudos to whoever had that feature introduced!

It is a great addition, and we often have two parallel threads going here, so no big deal.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I still prefer Share X. Allows me to band select just what I need, and auto uploads it to my imgur account.

I like it because now there is no excuse for not posting screenshots of issues in-game.

Is there another way to take screenshots? The (F12) does not work on my Mac, it turns the volume up.

File Menu --> Take a Screenshot (Granted I'm on a PC but it may be there on a mac too)

It's f12, just hit the fn key as well.

Problem taking screenshots on Mac

On my Mac running El Capitan, File > Take Screenshot does not work. You get the message that "The game was saved to your screenshots folder," but nothing was in that folder nor on the desktop.

Further, if you press FN + F12, it also does not create a screenshot.

I like it however I would like an improvement on it to include the whole information. There are screen shots that take more than one shot to make the complete picture. Would prefer to have it include everything including the stuff you scroll down on (example box score)

For a Mac, use Command+Shift+4 (NOT F4)

This will turn the cursor into crosshairs, and you can then select the area of the screen you want for your screenshot. It will save to your desktop.
