Question About # of Feeder League Teams Needed
Hello everybody:-) I have a question about the number of feeder league teams I need in my fictional league. I am using the feeder league guide below
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...gue-guide.html In my fictional league I have 24 major league teams and one level of minor league consisting of 24 teams. In the second step in the guide it says: Number of feeder teams needed = (number of teams in league * number of draft rounds)/6 Where it says "number of teams in league" does it mean number of teams in my major league or the whole league including minors? Should I use 24 or 48? Thanks |

Also, OOTP 15 now has an option when you add feeder leagues to "add a complete feeder league system" which will automagically add the appropriate number of feeder leagues and teams.

Hello Sabres2000, feeder teams are teams that "feed" players into you league for you to draft. I provided a link below to the section of the instructions manual that talks about feeder leagues. If you have any questions please ask:-) Out of the Park Baseball Manual |

Yes, feeder leagues are where the rookies come from that appear in the first year player draft. Rookie league is where your rookies that you draft can play. Rookie league is part of the minor league system.

How many major league teams do you have? How many minor league levels do you have(triple A, double A, etc)?
