Players being Auctioned are on Reserve Roster

I've had this happen several times now; I'll have a player on my reserve roster and put him up for auction, yet he still stays on my reserve roster while being up for auction. They're definitely still on auction cause the players have sold in that state. I haven't experimented to see if I can put them on the 25 man roster, because I don't want to lose one of my regulars for 14 days to find out. If I try to put that player up for auction while he's in that state I get a "object not found" message.

I've had this happen when I put the player up for auction in between the time the game auto-submits (one minute before simulation) and when the simulation is run.
