Advice needed: Injury Frequency Rating
I feel like the default setting (1.25) has led to far too many injuries league wide. Has anyone found the same problem and if so what was the sweet spot for that setting to bring injuries into a more reasonable frequency.
Thanks in advance for any and all input. |

switch it to 1.00, this usually works out well and is pretty realistic

Thanks very much. I will give that a try. I had been slowly dropping the rating in small increments with little observable change. (small sample sizes obviously).

I did a test over multiple seasons at various settings and the reduction to a lower setting reduced the practice injuries greatly. That was my pet peeve.

I do believe it is set too high on default.

I turned down practice injuries significantly. They were happening way too often and it seemed unrealistic to me.

The first game I started with default settings, this happened:
Sept 17, 2013 - Alex Ovechkin suffered a fractured elbow today during practice. He will miss 6 months. I mean OV is intense, but probably not that intense during practice. |
