Unhappy using mbl2 roster sets?

I'd really like to import the mlb2 roster sets and recreate the season. I'm just a little confused as to how to go about doing this. Thanks for all the help guys!

Angry

now it is giving me an abnormal runtime error and is shuts down ootp5 whenever I try to start it up. hmmmm, any ideas?

I created a folder titled 2003rosters.lg within the ootp5, I unzipped everything to that file. I try to "open league" and that error message is what it gives me.

Did you actually "look inside" the folder you created to make sure that the files are not inside of another folder inside of that one?

Where did you get the files? Off a CD? If so they are "read-only", try searching the board for "read only" and follow how to solve the issue.

How much free HD space do you? Is that "league name" you used unique? If I were you I'd try it again using a fresh d/l of the file and a new league name. Also, what are the files in the folder?

Plenty of free HD space. I'm going to try a different download. Thanks for all of the help, I'll post results once I get out of class...

looks like the problem was with ootp5 itself. I ran the setup again and it is working fine!

Stuff like that cracks me up. When someone says something like that, it tells me one thing: they don't know much about computer technology. You see, software is never written with AI built in to the point that it decides "okay, this time I am going to install myself correctly, the next I won't", and vice versa. Either the software works, or it doesn't. Or, it was something on your end.

well, I wasn't saying that the game decided not to work. I was saying that there was a missing file which would not let the game work. I rectified the problem and everything is great.

I know plenty about computer technology. Maybe not as much as you but then again I'm not some fat loser who sits in his parents basement all day, so you've got a leg up on me.

Thanks for the help though, jackass.
