Player refuses to be demoted.
What are options for players who refuse to be demoted? I have tried to trade the player but never get anything worth trading the player for. Usually other players make a good bit more $$ or for more years, neither of which, are good options just to get rid of an uncooperative attitude.

Did you waive and DFA Him? Maybe another team will claim him and relieve you of his salary. Your only other options are find room on your 25 man roster and keep him OR release him and eat his salary
or...you could go into the Comish settings and remove Players rights to refuse demotion

Didn’t think of that
That’s pretty obvious and it never crossed my mind! Thanks!

Or trade him. I had this happen with me today. My catcher refused to be demoted to AAA so I shopped him and shipped his candy butt straight out of town!
Sucker!
