Baseball Strategy

Could any of you kind people recommend to me a guide to baseball strategy for the relatively uninitiated? I play iOOTP and MLB The Show, and I need to know things like when it is a good idea to use an infield shift, hit and run, or sacrifice instead of bunt for hit. I'm English and wasn't spoon fed baseball in my cot, so any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks.

I can't recommend any particular one of these. We have few people on here who are little league umps, played for a NCAA college, 1 or 2 with minor league experience and 1 future HOF SP that may be more equipped to give a better recommendation.

Thanks for the input. I've found some titles on Kindle covering strategy, history and folklore which should be good for me.
