More player talent development questions
Because I'm playing out my games and micro-managing everything, I'm curious whether I should hang in and wait for farm hands to blossom, or try to make some trades this season for a chance to get past Boston (their pitching is so good and lineup is murder) in the next 1-2 seasons.
1. Do players develop at that same rate in majors vs. minors? 2. Does morale have a drastic impact on development rate? 3. What about playing-time in games? 4. About how many seasons does it generally take to improve say, 2 points (on the 1-20 scale)? 5. Can development happen during a season? 6. Does development happen faster when there's a large gap between current and potential, or is it pretty much constant? I had a few more, but they've slipped my mind at the moment. Any way, a huge thanks in advance to anyone who can provide a bit more insight! |

1. yes, seems unrealistic to me though
2. nope, if it makes a difference, it's a very small one. 3. no 4. It's different for every player, for every game. Also depends on their potential stats. 5. yes. 6. It's faster with larger gap |
