I see that 96 Ripken or Perfect Boudreau card that I want isn't going to be around anytime soon

Side note. There is a typo on the ARod card. It should be 1996, but the real issue is how he didn't win MVP that year. It's a joke Juan Gonzalez beat him in Homeruns and wasn't even close in any other offensive stat.

I was going to suggest adding MVP cards to PT but based on that alone I retract that thought.....

Name Tm Pts 1st Place Share WAR G AB R H HR RBI SB BB BA OBP SLG OPS
Juan Gonzalez TEX 290.0 11.0 74% 3.8 134 541 89 170 47 144 2 45 . 314 .368 .643 1.011

Alex Rodriguez SEA 287.0 10.0 73% 9.4 146 601 141 215 36 123 15 59 .358 .414 .631 1.045

If I could get 1985 Rickey, I would be sooooooo happy.

I actually pulled one, now I wish I didn't sell it.

That Joe L Morgan has been in the auction house tempting me as a 2B bat upgrade, but man that defense is terrible. Especially since the other 2 Diamond Morgans are high-end defenders.

Hey, I'm one of the 8 who has pulled that Yogi! That explains why I never see it in the AH.

Great post. This is something I've wondered about for a while.

Not gonna lie, tempted to sell off my team just to try and get one of these guys. Or a perfect Pedro

Did you restrict the list to Diamonds & Perfects? There are some historic golds that that I've seen in the auction house for the first time.

That All Star Soriano is only a 70, apparently.

The Baines is also a gold. It's more that Golds are just so much more common than Diamonds that they've all been pulled a ton of times. Chris didn't give us all the stats, but the historical golds have probably all been pulled 40+ times, other than the post-release content.

How about Dusty Rhodes 91 overall Unsung Hero? I have never seen that card in any of my leagues or on the AH. I have ratings on a spreadsheet and have every card (basic ratings not splits) except him or 100 Rogers Hornsby. Anyway you can post their ratings???

I don't know if it was your card that I bought, but if it makes you feel any better, 1985 Rickey is batting .184 and posting a 63 OPS+ so far for me, in 114 plate appearances. But this is where I have to admit that we play in a pitchers' park with all the factors at the minimum. Still, we do go on the road sometimes...

I'm excited to own Rickey, although he has a significant platoon split. He'll be part of a RF platoon.

With the purchase of 1985 Rickey Henderson, I now own three of these cards. I've got 2015 Bryce Harper playing RF and 1920 Pete Alexander as the long guy in my pen. When I acquired the latter two, I had no idea that they were special. It's fun to learn that!

ME 2

I lost 100+ games again this year. I don't belong anywhere hear Perfect Leagues. 1st off...I don't even have a 100 rated card & the highest card Nolan Arenado 90 something hits like Edgar Renteria every year. Useless Card,,,,and I got the one of the Harold Baines card...not a very good card in Perfect League. Haven't used in anywhere else....I much prefer playing in the lower leagues where the 60-70 rated cards preform well and bring back my awesome memories from youth
BB
Chicago Black Sox....btw...My season ended with getting a PERFECT GAME pitched against me in game 161 & 1 HIT in game 162, but was a solo homerun by Javier Lopez in 8th....
