Mound Trippers Baseball Association (MTBA)

Hi All...

Mound Trippers Baseball Association is a new league that has formed out of the remnants of and old league.... We currently have about a dozen GM's committed... but are looking to fill out our GM rosters before our startup...

We utilize Slack and StatsPlus... and also a forum for trades...

Information on the league (Rules, current reports, etc) can be found at http://mound-trippers.com

Schedule will be Tuesday and Thursday at 0800 EST and Friday at 1100 EST for in season SIM's (7 day in-game)... all SIMs are LIVE and you can get team channels if you like.... off season we try to run a SIM (1-3 weeks depending on whats transpiring) everyday but Sundays....

You can move your Team when you join and rename it, I can provide Logo's, Uni's etc, or you can...

If you are interested I ask that you hit the 'Contact' button at the website and send me an email.... I look at DM's here but not every day... GMs will be accepted on a first contact basis, and I will also have a waiting list when the time comes if you want to be added....

The premise behind MTBA is as follows:

RABA (the old league) went bankrupt and a new league was formed named 'Mound Trippers Baseball Association' MTBA... Most of the RABA Cities (not players) moved over... and a few more teams were added (20 total)... in 1905 and there was a Preseason Draft held to populate each organization which has MTBA, AAA teams for a total of 50 total players (these players came from 1876, 1889, and 1904 with dupes removed)... Then an AA League was added and an Amateur Draft with players in the draft from 1885 till 1910... Now each year going forward the Draft pool will add a year on the top end till 1919... In 1915 a Single A league and a Rookie league will be added.... This will complete the history aspect of the league (Today I am running 1912-14 seasons...)

The AI will play each season up to January 1st 1920 at which time 'Grandfathered' GM's (8 or so) can take the reins of their original Organizations, with the XFBL members (I always give my other leagues a first shot before posting) 3-4 so far want to join besides the original GMs we have... and what is left will be open to the public (This post)...

Starting with the 1920 Amateur Draft, the draft pool will come from 10 years past and 25 years forward... 1910-1945 adding 10 to the top end each year... so 1921 would be 1910-1955... 1922 would be 1910-1965... until we end up covering up to 20??...
