USBA Pro/Rel League Entering year 6 looking for members
United States Baseball Association
The USBA is one of the top pro/rel OOTP leagues around. We do our best to model our league off the format of European Soccer Leagues. However this league is not just for soccer fans we have found away to engage all baseball fans a like and have room for all types of players. We are currently entering our 5th offseason and have openings. Website: usba14.us Financials: ON (heavy on merchandising to reward success and punish losing) Financials really reflect how well your team has typically performed Coaches: ON Scouting: ON normal accuracy Weighted 5-round Draft so lower league clubs are more likely to pick early Lots of IFAs to spend money on DH: OFF Season Length: 108 games Premier League: 10 teams Silver League 10 teams Third League 12 teams Top 3 PL teams play for the Grand Championship Top team in each level is Automatically promoted #2 and #3 SL teams play promotion Playoffs #2 thru #5 Third League teams play promotion playoffs worst team in each league is automatically relegated second and third worst play a relegation series In-season 32 team FA cup competition World Cup every 2 seasons Annual HOF voting Highly active on AIM 2 levels of minors No Rule V draft Current Openings Premier League Columbus Tidal Waves Recently Promoted to the PL Columbus is the second team to earn back to back promotions. They are a pitching dominant team. They probably need a big boost for their pitching to match Premier League level though. Detroit Reapers Detroit has been in the PL in 4 out of 5 seasons. They have had luck on their side winning the relegation series multiple times. They have never been able to successfully put together a solid core to move them forward. If there is any great news for the Reapers right now its that they have an good farm system ranked #4 for PL teams Third League Wizarding AC Wizarding is our token Harry Potter themed Club. They feature a really strong pitching core and finished mid table in the third league in recent years. Some active owner ship should see this team contend to reach the SL soon Houston Colt .45s Another Lowly third division team. Has had moderate success at times. Really needs some consistent management to keep it all together. Email mcrubo@gmail.com wither interest or questions Last edited by slugger922cubs; 02-20-2015 at 06:07 PM. |

Hey community, this league is one of if not the best promotion & relegation leagues out there. Personally I don't like soccer and don't know anything about the European structured soccer leagues, but it doesn't matter at all. The pro/rel aspect just changes things up from a standard league. If you're looking for something a little different with an extremely active community then this is the perfect league.

This is a fun league. Relegation structure is the best setup around. Everyone is fighting to be the best and nobody wants to get relegated.

This is one of the best leagues around! We just moved to a new messaging system (Slack) which has really caused a huge increase in interaction as well! We are in our sixth season (barely started) and its going to be a great season!

Detroit, a premier league team, is still open. We are dictating that new GMs must be active in chat. 66% of the league is on our slack, and we're looking to get that as close to 100% as possible.
PM, post, or apply on the website for Detroit. Last edited by breich90; 03-01-2015 at 01:36 PM. |

Norfolk, Panama City, and Rocky Mountain are available.
Slack--a team chat application--is required for new managers. Most relevant information is pushed out via the app. New managers will be invited once I receive their application. Fill out an application here. Last edited by breich90; 03-18-2015 at 11:22 AM. |

California and Wizarding are also open. California is a very successful Premier League team, having made the PL playoffs after attaining double promotion all the way from the Third League in Season 4 and Season 5. Wizarding just clinched 1st place in the Third League, and will be competing in the Silver League for Season 7.
Houston, Rocky Mountain, and Lone Star are all young clubs in the Third League that need eager managers! Please, post or apply on our website to get one of these five teams. |
