I'm entering them into the world_default.xml instead. That way they will always be there.

I have decided to do one division per league (10 teams per division). So I will be starting with 20 teams.
The teams in the triangle will eventually be added to the league. |

this is taking shape nicely.
When I do fictional leagues, I always trying to create AAA franchises of the fairly close to their parent city. So, you could pretty easily do the same, if you just create a few smaller cities near your existing ones. That would also make it really easy to expand to additional level of minor weeks later, simply by creating more small cities.

I'm thinking of using the 1960s type settings. Higher stamina for pitchers. So I would have 3 man rotations, 3 relief pitchers, 8 starters on offense, 6 bench spots. Thoughts? |

I'm not much of a baseball historian, so I will leave that to you. I usually just play modern settings.

I'm thinking of making Klewshire an entirely new country.

Since a shire is a political subunit, I'd call it Klewland then. Or Klewistan.

I'm going with Klewshire. Just has that British feeling to it, like the rest of the cities/towns.

Klewshire Setup.xls
I have posted an Excel Spreadsheet of the cities I will use in my game. There are two tabs... "Major Cities" and "Small Towns" -Major Cities will be the cities that will be home to the 24 major league teams -Small Towns are a list of obviously small towns, to be used for minor leagues. If you look, you will notice that there is a HUGE difference in populations of large cities compared to small towns. I did this on purpose, as in my mind, the island is mountainous, so people tend to live in metropolitan areas. Last edited by Klew1986; 08-16-2014 at 11:15 PM. |

You should make this into a dynasty even if you don't like writing too much about it people (including myself) seem very interested and I'd like to see how it goes

I created and enter the Klewshire nation + cities into the world_default file.
Question is, do I have it strictly be Klewshire region/country in the game, so no international players? Or do I create a region consisting of Klewshire and a few other local countries? |

Time to start thinking of nicknames and then find logos/caps/unis.
I might go with a theme of animals for team names. |

I've been chipping away at my fictional world over the past few years... anyway one thing I did was put the team logos on the map and then use that as the background image for the skin.

Nicely done!
I have no idea what to do for logos/caps/uniforms. |

Track down the photobucket sites for justafan and txranger. They have done so many awesome logos and uniforms...
Also, silvam did a project that made generic logos and unis available for hundreds of team names. That might be great for you since you have made up town names. It's stickied in the logos sub forum!
