Qualifying Offer and Free Agency Compensation

Over the various versions of the game, depending on when the league was created I've noticed that the dollar amount associated with a qualifying offer varies with the version of the game the league was created.

Is there any way to raise a qualifying offer for leagues that have been going on for multiple versions of the game? One of the leagues I'm in is set at $11 mil, while another is $17 mil but no one seems to know how those values are set and if they can be adjusted at least no one in either league.

Good question. I'm interested in this as well.

It's based on the "star" player salary setting. That works as a great proxy for the actual MLB values (which is average of the top X contracts).
