A good story. Undrafted out of Eastern Illinois and then transferring to Green Bay. He has worked his ass off in Europe and the G-League and got some time with the Raptors and then made the Warriors opening night roster.

Well that was an unlikely 50 point game.

He reminds me of Livingston. What could have been if those 2 could stay healthy.

Jimmy Butler to the Sixers. Butler & Justin Patton for Robert Covington, Dario Saric, Jerryd Bayless & a 2020 2nd round pick

I like the Wolves return here.
I would also be hestiant to deal with Jimmy Butler. When he wants out of somewhere he can be a real head case. And Philadelphia has some strong personalities. What about the first time him and Embid get into it?

I know I don't trust him. When he tried to say he wanted to leave because Minny didn't have the will to win, but listed NYK, Brooklyn & the Clipps as his preferred destination, I know I can't believe anything out of his mouth. I wouldn't want him to serve as the vet voice in the room.

On the other side, I think the Wolves are idiots for not taking the Rockets' offer.

I preferred the Rockets offer as well but getting Covington on a good deal and Saric is not bad. Trades for stars rarely yield great returns.

And details are scarce but from what I have read the Rockets had those picks heavily protected and refused to budge off that.

Caris Lavert comes back from three foot fractures and is having a career year and looks like a foundational piece for the Nets only to suffer a horrific injury that will end his season.

It looks like he is going to be "lucky" and only have a dislocation and no ligament damage. Not sure on what the timetable on that return is but I am happy for him that it is not as bad as it sounded like it looked like.

Thank goodness it was “only” a foot dislocation with moderate ligament damage. No surgery is required and he could return as early as early 2019.
Usually when when an ankle twists like that it will go back into place. His stayed bent to the left and looked horrific. When I saw the video I thought for sure it was a lower leg fracture.

Not the NBA, but dang!

Not just suspended, but kicked off campus.

ESPN is a bunch of clowns. They make all of this fuss about how will LBJ be received in his return to Cleveland, then don't televise it live when he is introduced. How numb in the skull can you be?

Thank goodness Hamidou Diallo has nothing more serious than a sprained ankle. I saw the game live and I thought for sure he had a broken leg or ankle or tore his knee apart.

If you have a strong stomach you can watch it here.

They were probably disappointed that the Cleveland fans gave LeBron a friendly welcome and did not riot. The national sports media thrives on sensationalism where Cleveland is concerned. They don't know our city and certainly don't respect us. Who needs 'em? *shrugs*

I don't really pay much attention to the NBA until after the SB. SO it's real early. Still I just looked at the standings and......

The Clips lead the west?........Why is Boston only 10-10?..............Houston, SA, Minny & Utah are all out of the top 8 in the west?..........How did the Bucks lose @ home to the Suns?..........The West is so jumbled up, NO could be in 14th place next week after being in 8 this week............

This is something about nothing.

Turns out on Mark Jackson's rookie card, the 2 fans sitting in the front row on Jackson's right are the Melendez Bros. after the murder of their parents, but before they were arrested. The card is now worth $25 after it was selling for 50 cents.

They were wealthy growing up and I think had Lakers season tickets.

I'm guessing the photo had to be @ MSG since he is wearing Knicks home white.
