2012 w/ Random Debut and Nutts College Feeder Lg starting

Once the latest patch comes out for OOTP 13 on Friday, I will be starting a second league for anyone interested. It will be again a random debut league- we will start with CubbyFans 2012 teams w/ ZIPS ratings and rosters w/ full minors. 35 man "40 man roster" so there will be alot of waiver action. There will not be any ‘Star’ ratings provided by the scouting but it will be a 2-8 scale, no coaches, year 2000 financials so top players make 12M, player salaries recalculated based on this, 200% luxury tax for going over 125% average payroll, Nutt's college feeder league, OOTP engine for development, and each owner will be able to cut release one player/cut one contract before we start. This will help those larger market teams that are way over on luxury tax and get some of the talent to the lower market teams (KC, Houston, Oak, etc) via FA bidding. Rule 5 draft, 10/5 veto, refuse minors assignment, 2012 FA compensation, draft lottery system to weed out 'tanking', Low injuries and high fatigue (to offset the decreased injuries).10M cash maximum and Houston is in the AL West. If you are interested, drop me a line as to what team you would like.

The sim schedule will be Monday/Thursday 2 weeks at a time. When 'claiming' a team, I need your name and email address to enter into the game and get you set up on the forums. You can email that to pcdawson2 at yahoooooo.

What does "random debut" mean?

the draft classes are comprised of players throughout baseballs history so you might have Cy Young, Mark McGuire, and Al Kaline in the same draft class. They come in at 18-22 yrs of age and you move them through your minors as they develop. It is a very interesting feature of OOTP 13 but I have been using third party databases (Spritze, Gambo, Sandman) for years with different OOTPs to make random debut leagues.
