I Need Input Setting Up The NeL Rebrand

So with the help of Txranger, we are creating a NeL rebrand in honor of the 100th anniversary. 16 teams to have the look and feel of 2020. I would like peoples opinions on league setup.

Heres what I would like to to.

Origin countries and draft countries: America, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, DR. Any others?

18-20 man roster with no limit Reserve Roster.

Clones of all NeL greats including Toni Stone, Connie Morgan & Mamie "Peanut" Johnson. Adding NLBM President Mr Bob Kendrick as a clone of Josh Gibson.

No DH

Financials of today, modifiers of 1950.

Any other ideas or changes let me know.

Some suggestions you might want to consider?

Other countries from the Caribbean Sea area, maybe some African nations, and maybe certain other South American countries might be okay here? Just a thought or two here you might consider, that's all. Thank you for your time and all. CD out.

Which year is the last for the NeL in game? 1950?

Also should only non white players be allowed for the inaugural season? Once you download the QS and play it you can play it your way.

i believe the NeL ends in OOTP with Jackie Robinson joining the Dodgers - which was 1947? even though the league struggled for a while after that, but wasn't of the same caliber by 1950's.

Why is the Negro League being referred to as the "NeL"? I was confused about what you guys were talking about and tried doing an internet search for "NeL" and nothing came up.

No worries. I eventually figured it out from context. Just thought it was weird.

It has become a sort of default abbreviation - the "e" in the middle differentiates it from the NL, which stands for the "National League." I don't think that abbreviation was ever used during the era that the Negro Leagues actually existed. It's more of a baseball-history-nerd thing
