Sell or keep
I have a 1B who has been producing for years, without the ratings that would support those numbers. Should I sell before he has a bad season, or should I keep the hot hand?

If you didn't have the ratings, what would you do?

I was going to automatically say "yup."
But, to the OP: Are you using scouts, or are those his actual in-game ratings? If you have scouts on, how are your scouts? Could be, your scouts are just inaccurate. Then too, how is your farm system? Do you have a good, fresh young first baseman that could take his place very soon? How's your budget? How much is that guy making? What can you get in return? Are you trying to make the playoffs and win it all, or are you rebuilding? In short: it totally depends. |

Not enough info to help really.
He is producing and that to me is far beyond whatever the ratings say... There are so many settings in OOTP that it would be helpful to have a bigger picture of them. I love mr. consistent players in OOTP they tend to stay good for a while and he is only 30. |

Sell or keep
If his overall and potential are that low, how much could you really get for him.
Though if it's a park thing, and you play in a big hitters park, then you might be able to replicate the numbers with another below average 1b |
