Boston v New York Opening Day 1886
The above image is an excellent representation of Ezra Sutton as shown in one of the most notorious photos in baseball history. 'Old Hoss' Charley Radbourn is captured in what appears to be a controversial hand gesture on Opening Day 1886. The whole image has been glorious colorized by Fenway Photoshop on that twitter account. This twitter account is one of a number that show magnificently colorized images, including ManCave Pictures, Don Stokes' account and the BaseballInColor twitter feed.

One of my personal favorite baseball photos. I was able to obtain a high definition scan of it from the Library of Congress last year.

I'm not sure about the color of the 1886 Beaneaters road jersey.
I've seen depictions of it being light tan and others of it being gray as in the team photo above. I like the looks of it better as tan so I'll leave my image of Sutton as is. The team image is certainly splendid work as are many others at the twitter page where it came from. Thank you the reference to it. |

Mike Caldwell collaboration
This hard-to-find photo of Mike Caldwell during his short stay with the Reds was posted on the main OOP thread lately. Four of us did our parts to turn it into a missing 1977 White Whale. Take it or leave it folks.

Bruce Look
I had been tinkering with this one for a while. Your work is really good on your Look Transformations. I took the face, colorized it and then cut and pasted it over Dick Schofield. Thought it was amusing to put them both in the same photo
