Rule V draft crashes to desktop...

I threw together a 16 team 2 league setup and amy trying to sim from 1850 - 1900. Every season, no matter if I have the rule V draft turned on or off, I crash to desktop when I get to it. If I restart the game, I pick up where I left off after the rule V draft? Has anyone seen this?

One other thing I noticed, when I try and play an exhibition game, the file and player display seemed to be shifted off to the right.

Steve, Henry, Markus, is there any crash log I could send you to help dig this one up?

BTW... everything else looks great.

No idea, never mentioned during testing. I know that using the "Lahman db" that the game only "officially supports" 1901-present.

I'm not using the Lahman DB but I'll see if I can start a league in 1901 and see if I get the same symptoms.

I understood that you weren't but figured that it is "possible" that there is a reason within the code why pre-1900 seasons are not supported in other cases. I honestly don't know as I only play present day leagues.

It seems as if it has straightened its self out after a few seasons. Not too sure what happened. I'm in 1866 right now and no crash the last 5 drafts.

I just imported a OOTP5 league and everything was fine until i tried to run the Rule 5 Draft. But when i click on it to run it, it crashes, saying OOTP6.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. Ill try it without it enabled and see what happens

Well it seems to work fine if i just turn off the Rule 5 Draft.

I have encountered the same problem. Fictional 16 team league. No financials/coaches/scouts. Rule 5, 40 man rosters, all disabled. My test league began in 1900. This crash only happens when running multiple seasons. When I run them one at a time, everything is fine.

I tried again with a starting date of 1910. This doesn not appear to be date related. Steve, have you been able to duplicate this?

I just simmed a 16-team fictional league starting in 1921 and have no problems with rule 5 draft after 5 seasons. Can you give me any more info on your crashes?

I just converted my OOTP5 historic league into OOTP 6 and the Rule V Draft crashes when I go to run it. There are players on every team that are eligible for the draft. I don't understand why it's not working.

Ill try it on another converted league soon. But so far it only happens in the converted league. I converted at the start of the Season.

Yeah this is really bad. I can't get past the draft and I really don't want to skip it because I shouldn't have to.

Does anybody know if there has to be a certain amount of players available for the draft? It looks like there are between 2 and 3 rounds of players available. This is in 1963 of a converted OOTP 5 league. Thanks.

My converted league won't go past the Rule V. I get the same error message.

In fact, I turned off the Rule V, and still crash at the end of free agency. It seems to have to do with offseason trading...unsure as to why.
