OOTP 21 Public Beta Download Links!

Hello everybody!

Since each year many users have trouble locating the email containing the download links, we figured we'd post them here in advance. So, everybody who has pre-ordered can now download & play the beta version of OOTP 21. If you have not yet pre-ordered, you can download the beta anyway and buy your license key from within the game and then activate it & play, no problem

Activation instructions: Activation & licensing info

Note for PC Users: If you get a Windows Defender warning when launching the installer, click on "More info" and then the button to launch the program anyway.

On Wednesday (and maybe Thursday, too) we'll release an updated beta build with bugfixes.

Wow. i had just set my alarm in my calendar for the estimated release time and walked away from my laptop. When i returned i thought why not refresh the page and i found this.

While i'm downloading, i'll say congratulations and thank you for OOTP 21. i'm one of those 50 year olds that have played all the games and stopped when i found this one. You've done great work. And you've never rested on your laurels, you continue to add to what is already IMHO the best in the business.

As a fictional world dynasty player, an online league player and a perfect team player i wish you (selfishly) continued success.

And one day i'm gonna' find that old journal entry i wrote as a teenager that described this game and post it...

No, the beta is not available on Steam. The game will launch there on Friday officially.

PSA: Make sure you use the right activation code...I kept trying to put in my FHM 6 code and then couldn't figure out why it wouldn't activate.

I've bought through steam that last few years so forget, if I get the pre order can you install it on multiple devices ie desktop and laptop?

but isn't the code we see on our order form the correct code and so far that does not work. i bought on 20 on sellerate. b ut i get the feeling that that code does not work. but what other code would i use

You can purchase a key code for Linux from the P.I.S.D. website, click "Shop Page" on the initial post from Markus.

I just bought it from the P.I.S.D. website and I'm able to play the beta in Linux.
