P412: Huntley Advances! Also a Massive Bug

Huntley wins game 5, 4-1, and advances to the much anticipated rematch with RealMadrid in the NC Sub-League Series!

Only...P412 is seeing the same bug as others, as both #1 seeds will begin on the road in the Sub-League Series. This completely sucks; Huntley did not earn home-field advantage and should not have it.

It’s happening to my teams as well.

It’s happening I’m my leagues too.
Doha had the best record in the conference and lost home field to an all lefty team team that plays in a lefty park

Great Lakes was seed nr.2 and received home field advantage against the nr.1 seed.

Pretty safe to say that the tournaments patch broke home field advantage in regular PT somehow.

And of course, we couldn't really "test" this until the playoffs rolled around on Sunday.

According to Kris in the discord, it's a known bug and will be fixed with tomorrow's patch.

Bug? Anyone else seen this before? I mean, that team did take 4/6 regular season matchups, but that isn't how it should be decided.
Lyin' CHEATIN' Senator. He'll say he has nothing to do with it & it was the new patch. & it will all make sense. But remember he's a skilled LIAR.

On the one hand, Huntley was, as documented, worse at home than on the road this season. For example, the Red Raiders split the season series with RealMadrid, 3-3, with both teams winning 2 of 3 on the road. So, theoretically, the bug giving Huntley home-field advantage in the Sub-League Series shouldn't make a huge difference in the series.

On the other hand, even though I'm pleased Huntley is up 2-0 in the P412 Sub-League Series matchup, winning 6-1 and 5-0 at home, I don't feel great about it.

It's funny, I didn't even notice..., but all's well that ends well.

Onto, the finals where I get home field advantage after all. But not because of the bug. 133-win Orlando goes down to the Seoul Paw Sox, who despite winning fewer games than Orlando had a +620 run differential.

But is the bug carrying into the Perfect Series or just affected the LCSs? Because...then...you would NOT have homefield advantage against the 'dogs.

I know it didn't seem to change the DS homefield.

Home field is OK in the finals. I have more wins than the dogs.

The Paw Sox. You're probably going to win 76-2. Unless they're red hot.
Oops...didn't catch that bit about a +620 run differential...Might be a tight one.

OMGPuppies' Parakeets couldn't quite get it done against the favored Texas Texans, even with the bugged home-field advantage. Huntley is up 3-2 against RealMadrid, as the series returns to Huntley (not my fault! )...

Glad you propped up the 2nd conspiracy theory in one night but the computer language often has problems with things like that.

Like when a guy drives in 1 runs. Think it just wants to indicate who won the series that isn't over yet.

P412: Once Again, It's a Game 7

Just like the 2047 Perfect League Series, Huntley and RealMadrid's 2052 Sub-League Series clash comes down to a game 7...
