SUGGESTION: Setting the Draft table
I assume plans are already well underway for the 2019-20 edition of FHM6. I would like to make the suggestion that you upgrade the draft system to be more of an event. I am not suggesting a whole lot of new features, but here are a few suggestions:
1) set a draft table where you hand pick 4-6 scouts and, when it's your turn to draft, each suggests their preference (that is what really happens). The chief scout is at the top, but the others are usually canvassed for their opinions. Ideally, if there were a way to keep track of the successful recommendations, which would feed into the reputation of the scouts.
2) have more distractions, like other teams wanting to trade or a "rumour mill" that may or may not be true but would make you ponder your pick (i.e.: "Reports are that Yuri Petrov is preparing to sign a 3-year deal with Omsk of the KHL" or "Todd Smith is said to be hiding a chronic high-ankle sprain.: (sometimes these are true, sometimes not.)
3) add a clock. Teams have 5 minutes to make picks in the first round and 2 minutes in the second and after. (obviously the player can pause the game if necessary) That would make it much more exciting.
