NHL -- Stale Scouting
It has taken me a long time to realize that NHL GMs need to reassign their scouts each year to new activities or they simply stop digging for new players. Case in point, I had Trevor Timmins (Habs) scouting the OHL and forgot to check in with him the next season. When I looked over after a year or so, there were no kids under 20 on his list.
It would be ideal if, on June 23rd each year, the game would automatically archive the previous year's scouting for each player and clear the "Active Scouting" histories for each of the scouts on a team. That way, they start clean each season. Failing that, a button that offers the GM the ability to manually clear a scout's history without having to completely re-assign him. |

Or even better having the assistant reminding you that "it's time to tell our scouts what to do next year"
