The Prospect Play-Through (Real-Life MLB)
I did something similar to this years ago, as a secondary thread to a dynasty that I had been doing.
Basically, this thread is all about prospects. Top 100 and Top 10 lists, drafts, organizational rankings. We'll be tracking their progress and development. I've created a live start from July 7, so we'll have the 2021-2024 draft classes that come with the game. After that, it will be fictional players (not counting whatever real-life HS players don't sign and go back to college Don't expect much on pennant races, unless prospects are heavily involved. But I will post standings so you know how your favorite team is doing on the field With that in mind, let's start with the Top 100 Prospects list for 2021, and then move on to organizational rankings and the 2021 Draft...

Top 100 Prospects Released Franco, Rutschman top list The BA Top 100 prospects list has been released, and Tampa Bay Rays infielder Wander Samuel Franco is the No. 1 prospect for the second-straight year. He joins Andruw Jones, Joe Mauer and Bryce Harper as the only players to be name the top overall prospect in back-to-back seasons. However, it was a close decision, as both Baltimore catch Adley Rutschman and Royals third baseman Bobby Witt Jr. were also considered for the top spot. Rutschman and Witt will begin their first full professional seasons after the 2020 season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Braves outfielder Christian Pache, who made his Major League debut last season, was the No. 4 overall prospect, while exciting young Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez is No. 5. Tigers corner infielder Spencer Torkelson, the top pick in the truncated 2020 draft, checks in at No. 6, while the No. 7 spot is manned by Padres pitcher MacKenzie Gore, the highest-ranked pitcher on the list. The first group of 10 is rounded out by Tigers pitcher Matt Manning, Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic, and Royals pitcher Asa Lacy, making those three organizations the groups to have two players in the Top 10.

Before the draft, it's the 2021 MLB Futures Game. Here's the rosters for the home NL team, managed by Rockies legend Vinny Castilla, and the AL team, managed by Twins legend (and former Rockies pitcher) Latroy Hawkins: And this happened: But what was the final result? Stay tuned....
