Waivers/Claims

Every so often in the news I'll see a team claimed a player off waivers from another team.

(NHL current season/sandbox)

Now maybe I'm looking in the wrong place (Front office - waivers?) but it seems whenever I check there is no one listed on waivers. If I check every few days I'd think I would see someone sooner or later. Don't they have to remain on waivers for some period of time?

Am I looking in the wrong place? Also, maybe it should be easier to find, or maybe we could get regular reports from the staff if there are interesting players available?

They only stay on waivers for a day. So if you fast sim several days in advance, you skip over it. You have to sim day to day to catch them.

I do sim one day at a time. I guess I'll make sure to check each day.

It would be good to assign that task and give parameters if someone meets them to let me know.

i wish it would notify you when someone was placed on waivers as I always forget to check

Wouldn't really matter. Here's what I noticed. I put my wn guy on wavers, checked the leave front office waiver let and there he was. Advanced to next day and he'd cleared and was in minors.

There needs to be some delay so they show up on the list.

And yes, some notice would be nice

I agree, I,ve noticed that sometimes you can see them on the Home Page in the waiver box but sometimes the game won't let you see the players there and you see a message the day after that tells you a team did pick a player on waivers
