Ah, so we earn points from achievements?

Wasn't sure how this worked, but then I saw this pop up and saw a cost associated with it

So how else do we earn coin for packs?

Wow. You done great. That's one of the best ones I've heard of.

You get points for getting players on the all star teams, for making playoffs, for all various kinds of achievements, for selling cards obviously, etc. But 2500PP is about the best I've heard of.

I got 4000 for a long winning streak once.

There are achievements big and small for nearly all facets of the game, but they tend to be paid out more for flashy things, like striking a lot of people out, than more prosaic stuff like a win or a complete game.

In my experience achievement rewards tend to lean towards offensive-oriented teams. A defense-first team can win games, but IMO they only earn about 50% of an offense-first team of the same talent level.

The highest achievement pays 10k. I believe it's only been done once in MLB history.

Hmmm... only once.

Is it throwing a World Series? It's throwing the championship series, right?

My first thought was a perfect game in a world series, but since you said "I believe it's only been done once" that leads me to think it's something else.

Just curious, but what if someone had a guy with a 40+ game hitting streak. If it approached DiMaggio's record, shouldn't that be worth a lot? Am I correct in assuming their are achievements for hitting streaks? Is there a list somewhere? Or are we supposed to just find out once it happens to someone and hopefully, they report it?

Shortstop starts in both games of a double header and doesn't touch the ball once?

I got 9000PP for a "power inning" which I believe was 6 homers in the same inning. Only huge score I've had.

400 points Silver for "Throwing a Maddux" ... it doesn't spell out exactly but the pitcher's line was 9 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K, 98 Pitches, so my guess is that it's a sub-100-pitch complete game.

On whether achievements are repeatable in a season, I'm pretty sure all are apart from the initial achievements (First win, etc), and the ones that can only be achieved once per season (Going to the Playoffs, Season scores, etc).

I know what it is. If Jose Cansanco plays the ball off his head and it goes over the wall for a home run you get 10K.

I also immediately thought of Don Larsen. Maybe Wambganns' World Series unassisted triple play?

Both are singular events.

This past year Brock Holt hit for the first cycle in post-season history. Is it that?
