Importing Entire Historical organizations?
Ok, I've been messing around a little with Historical and I'm wondering if there is a way to import an entire Organization from a single year or at the very least any way to get this somewhat accomplished.
What I want to do is create a league with different Historical teams from different years.. So say I wanted the 1980 Expos, 1975 Reds, 1961 Yankees, 1954 NY Giants, 1946 Cardinals etc...in a league. How would one go about also getting their historical Minor leagues (Or at least a team or two) along with them. My goal is to have this league with different teams from different era's fully intact with 1,2 or hopefully 3 or more real historic minor league teams from their actual franchises. I'm sure this will be a major task, so if anyone can guide me in the correct direction or has any ideas about the best way to go about this that would be great. Thanks Rhett

In previous versions of the game it was relatively simple, just go to the league settings menu and under edit league structure you can click on add historical team, where you would then just locate the historical database file..
HOWEVER.. It seems that, atleast in my files, it is no longer there.. I cant find it.. So I have the same questions as you. If anybody can help?? |

I was wondering about this too. It would be interesting to at least have the correct AAA team for each historical team that gets added to the league.

Their's a way but it just still only lets you pick MLB Team if you selected file like MILB.

So what your saying is you COULD if OOTP gave you the option to select the appropriate League and team from within the file, which it doesn't, so you can't. It's pretty obvious that the teams are in the Stats folder in the MiLB Leagues and Teams spreadsheets and the game can access them.your proposition is purely theoretical and the short version is the what I want to do still can't be accomplished (at least not simply by telling the game to import them). Which means the issue I'm having still exist and my original post ask how it can be done, so if you know a way I can accomplish it feel free to share
