Live in or around the Chicagoland/Midwest area? Starting an online league

I've decided I want to start an online league with general managers from in and around the Chicagoland area. I've always loved online leagues, but I recently thought, what if I could gather OOTP users locally for an online league. I'm open in general as to the type of league we would run - historical, modern, fictional. That doesn't so much matter to me and would be open to everyone's suggestions as building a small community of OOTP users in this area. Once I could see the amount of users interested, I could try to get an idea of what we could do with this. Perhaps a live OOTP draft or playoffs? Week or biweekly league get togethers at a local establishment? Who knows. I just want to see if anyone is interested in this, would be cool to take OOTP from social media to just social. Let me know if you're up for it!

I think this is a great idea. I live in Chicago and I'm definitely interested if enough people join.

SW burbs here. Let's do a league with players that have only played for the Sox, Cubs, Brewers & Cardinals. this way no matter where you live in the state your team is covered. No Yankees fans allowed. Despite my avatar I am a Sox fan and hate the Cubs & Brewers. i think there is about 12 of us from IL on here. Sandman, Abe Frohman hmm a few others.
