Historical Batters being used as pitchers

Hey all,

With recalc off and real transactions set to off the development engine will start players like Ruth and Musial as pitchers, which is fine. I know how to manually edit them to make the computer use them as hitters. I was just wondering if anyone had any links or lists of all famous hitters that pitched at some point; this would allow me to keep a track of who I need to edit upon debut so the computer uses them in their right role instead of keeping them as pitchers.

Thanks!

There are 14,043 of this type of player in the current OOTP database.

So a list would depend on what "famous" means.

Plus there are "famous" pitchers who started as non-pitchers like Trevor Hoffman.

Is there a column or field in your database I can use to find these players? I just want a list and I can go from there.

Thanks for your help

No.

It takes a number of queries to distill the information down to what you are looking for.

Recalc does this automatically. Since you want it off then there you go.
