Matt Garza has been out all season so far with a lat strain. In the game, he is listed as healthy and in the Brewers rotation.

He began his rehab assignment on 5/31 and should be back with the major league club very soon, but he shouldn't be healthy in the Opening Day roster set.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but something I noticed after the (real) MLB draft this year was that a lot of the top picks didn't really correspond with the top OOTP prospects. For instance, guys like Moniak, Ian Hamilton, Joey Wentz (who in game isn't even rated as a pitcher), second round pick but first round talent Bryan Reynolds etc. are 3rd or 4th round types in game (that's where they went when I auto drafted). Is anything planned to update the draft class to more accurately reflect the abilities of draftees and allow for a better simulation of the 2016 draft?

Yes, absolutely. We've already made quite a few changes and more are on the way.

That being said, if you're playing with scouting on, the results will not necessarily accurately correspond to the players real-life or in-game talent, as scouting randomizes things quite a bit.

I have already re-rated or fixed issues with all the players so far from Rds. 1-6 ... 34 new players added so far as well.. Also adjusted a lot of the players drafted in the first few rds. that didn't go until the teens..stay tuned

I'm sure you did. I was just stating that as a general note of interest. Wasn't saying you were wrong at all.

do you eventually plan to add all the draftees?
Just curious cus I was thinking of beginning to collect pics for aas many as I can possibly find for facegens if you guys are gonna plan on adding most if not all of them

Yes, of course we'll add them all

We always do. They may not all show up till OOTP18, as the draft pool is limited in size, but we will add everyone drafted this year to the db at some point between now and and next year.

I honestly didn't know the draft classes were limited, I thought it was based on th settings in the game.. See, we learn something new everyday

For fictional it is based on settings, but in the MLB quickstart, the real classes are limited. Forget exactly what to. Iirc. it used to be 1100 but Markus upped it to 1250 or 1300, though I may be a little off on that.

Since there are tons of pretty decent HS guys who don't get drafted irl due to high demands, some of them tend to crowd out some of the more modest players in the pool, D3 or NAIA seniors etc.

Brewers GM David Stearns is listed as being from Manhattan, IL in the game, when I believe he is actually from Manhattan, NYC.

Yep, gonna add them all.. At my current pace I should be done by this time next week... I'll also be adding all the non-drafted free agents that sign to the draft pool as well... So I'll keep updating those signings as they come in

Team name typo: the Dominican league's "Diamonbacks 2" should obviously be "Diamondbacks 2"

EDIT: Also, the Can-Am league (in-game, this is the second subleague of CAAA) still has a blank second division.

EDIT 2: Zach Booker (C, Norfolk Tides - BAL AAA) is injured with no diagnosis.

Hey everyone .. I noticed a few retired players are missing their "HOF Metrics" on their HISTORY, and also missing their LEADERBOARD APPEARANCES stats. for ex: Magglio Ordonez ..
